Financial Literacy
Training for Librarians*
Sponsored by the
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau & the Palm Beach County Library System
The
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) is the nation’s first federal
agency focused solely on consumer financial protection. Their mission is to
help consumer financial markets work for American consumers, responsible
providers, and the economy as a whole. By working with public libraries, the
CFPB hopes to make reliable, unbiased financial information and tools more
available to consumers through exploration of various topics presented by
federal agencies such as the SEC, FDIC, and Clearpoint.
* You don’t have to be
a librarian to attend.*
