Library Career Online High School Application Due June 15

The State of Florida will continue to provide selected Florida public libraries an opportunity to offer residents access to Career Online High School. Public libraries that are interested in being considered for the program must submit an application by 6:00 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, June 15. The application form is available online.

VALF Annual Meeting on May 6

Plan on attending the Volunteers for Adult Literacy in Florida (VALF) Annual meeting on Friday, May 6, at the Florida Literacy Conference in St. Petersburg. The meeting is at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront at 8:15 a.m. Here is a description of all conference sessions. Mary Quijano will be presenting a program on financial literacy  as part of the session to be followed by the VALF annual meeting.
