Citizenship

Dear members,
Today through Friday, July 11, join the USCIS Office of Citizenship for a discussion on adult citizenship education and resources designed to help adult learners prepare for the naturalization interview and test. Promising practices from the field will also be highlighted.

Guest speaker Paul Kim of USCIS, and group moderator Miriam Burt, have jumpstarted the discussion with important questions including, “What do you think are the content knowledge and English language skills needed to prepare for naturalization? How would you teach those skills?” and “What are ways in addition to role plays to practice the language and content needed for the speaking test?”

Please join the Adult English Language Learners group to share your own comment on this discussion. You can set your desired email notification settings on the group's landing page, and leave the group after the event if you prefer.
We look forward to hearing from you in this discussion thread throughout the week!
